This project was completed during my 3rd semester at MITID, with the brief to design a character that seamlessly integrates into the storyline of an existing animated show.

“Character Design”

Devi is a 14 year old migrant from India living with her uncle Abu in Springfield, Oregon. She is a scrawny petite kid. Her father brought her to America along with her siblings to get better opportunities and an improved lifestyle. She works at the family’s kwik-e-mart after school.

She’s a born leader and a typical know-it-all and answers everything with facts. She doesn’t back away from making people feel stupid or dumb. Her best friend is Lisa Simpson. Her role in this series is like that of a sensible voice in a town full of crazy people.
